If you don't use the Recycle Bin to store deleted files , you can get rid of its desktop
icon all together. Run Regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/explorer/Desktop/NameSpace
